Terra Nova Recap: Now You See Me

Jim dresses up in cargo pants as he becomes Commander for the day whilst Taylor visits his son’s equations.

It is almost three years since the day Skye’s parents were murdered by the Slasher’s. Before Taylor leaves, he agrees to take Skye to the memorial field when he returns. New rules are set into action in order to find the Sixer spy. Every time a civilian wants to go OTG they have to first inform a security official. With Commander Taylor away, Jim is quickly on the lookout and Reynolds spots the spy’s location when flashes of light from outside camp are detected also inside a house.

Racing to the house, it seems the spy has escaped, however, we discover who the culprit is… Skye! Bet you didn’t see that one coming! A glass has a drop of blood in it which Jim suspects is from the spy, and right enough Skye’s hand is bleeding.

Jim takes the glass with blood in it to Elizabeth, but she laughs as there is no way she will be able to find out who the culprit is with such little amount of blood, so Jim has no choice but to ask Malcolm for help…

Meanwhile, Taylor is investigating the rocks Lucas writes his equations on, but Mira appears and handcuffs him! The two bicker while walking to Mira’s camp with the head of the Sixer’s claiming she had to make her choices in life because she wants to protect her daughter back in the future. However, Taylor is able to turn the weapon on Mira when a group of dino’s appear.

Skye sees Josh about to leave Terra Nova to build a new water line and she too volunteers to help, so she can go and meet with her Sixer friends that is. Skye is able to dash away and meets up with a Sixer, giving him some items from the camp. Although, there is a reason for her untrustworthy ways as it turns out the Sixer’s have her mother and they have the medication to treat her. Skye has to give them insider knowledge in order to keep her mom alive!

Mira and Taylor are still arguing. The Sixer leader hits a nerve with Taylor when she brings up the Commander and his sons distant relationship which occurred because of something that happened in Somalia.

Malcolm has been successful in extracting some blood from the container for Liz to test on. However, it is still a small amount meaning the results won’t be ready until the following morning. Skye is back from her ‘volunteering’ and is ready to start working at the hospital when she spies her blood being tested…

Taylor and Mira’s are distracted from their arguments when two dinosaurs storm at them. The two have no choice but to throw themselves down a cliff. Both leaders survive, but Mira’s gun is lost in the lake. Taylor offers one of his knifes to Mira and instead of fighting each other; the two team up to fight against the dinosaurs. When the pre-historic creatures eventually make a return, Mira and Taylor are able to scare them off. The two agree that in a parallel universe they would have made an unstoppable team.

Jim is forced to have a very embarrassing talk with Reynolds when the love sick teenager admits he wants to marry Maddy in the future! After her shift, Skye returns back to the hospital and breaks the test. Jim is enraged by this and he demands Liz to make a list of everyone who has access to the hospital. The suspect list now stands at 84, but Liz is able to salvage some of the test results which shows that the spy is a female so there is now 47 possibilities.

The next day, Taylor and Mira depart right where they started: at the rocks with the equations. Before leaving, Mira explains Lucas is extremely close in finishing his experiment of opening the portal both ways. Taylor arrives back in Terra Nova proud that Jim has been able to decrease the suspect list, but he still wants the inside woman caught! Speaking of the betrayer, Skye arrives and the two head to the memorial field. However, not before Taylor repeats how Skye’s parents would be so proud of how she has turned out. If only he knew the truth…
